The preferred file format for sending 3D CAD files are; Parasolid, IGES, Step or STL. We also accept other formats and raw files such as Rhino, Solidworks and Maxsurf.
For sending 2D CAD files the preferred formats are DXF, DWG or AI. Please attempt to close all geometries, and ensure that scaling is 1:1 in metric units and that there are no zero length entities. We do also accept other file formats.
When supplying designs on paper, all working drawings or sketches should be clearly labeled with dimensions and relevant tolerances since we will need to recreate the design as an electronic version.
